I read so much lately about learning to love yourself and creating a good life for yourself, that I had never stopped to think about whether it’s truly right to think about yourself before others. After a conversation with my boyfriend, it really got me thinking about whether you should work to make yourself happy first, or should you try to make others happy instead?

Before I get into things, I just want to apologise if this post isn’t cohesive – I’m feeling under the weather and my brain feels very foggy! I’m not complaining too much though, I’m still feeling happy and optimistic about the future.
