My resolution to write on paper and read from paper is really just a silly way of saying I need to spend more time away from the computer, doing things that encourage my creativity.
Another new year’s resolution I set myself for 2010 was to start blogging again, or, more urgently, save Marmalade Skies from extinction!
Over the last few months, probably since the summer and even before then, I really neglected my blog here. I stopped coming up with things to write about, I forgot why it was fun, and I really missed connecting with all the people who I first met here through my blog.
On May 11th, 2008 I first started blogging at Marmalade Skies.

Improving my blog isn’t just about the blog in itself, it’s about learning how to be more creative and writing posts that have (some kind of) meaning. I’ve come across the idea of writing meditation a number of times, and I think now is the perfect time to get back into it.
