This month I’ve set myself a challenge – to take a photograph each day documenting what I do, what matters to me, what I learn, or what takes my interest. The really great thing about this challenge is that I also did it last February, and it’ll be great to see how things have changed.
This February Compared to Last
The main differences between this year and last are:
- I moved out of my parents’ and into a flat in a new town with my boyfriend,
- I work all the time, from home,
- I don’t know many people here still,
- I don’t go out as much as I used to last February,
- But I do probably live in a more interesting place now,
- And I’m going on a break for a week (in a week and a half) up to the north of England.
I am quite sad to say that I don’t go out as much, but that’s just the way it is. That’s fine. The photo challenge is a great way of forcing myself to get out and find something interesting to capture for all eternity here on my blog
How Last February Looked
Last February was interesting. I had lots of boring days, yet I still found great things to photograph. Things that I would never have normally remembered, yet I look back now and smile. I remember bad things, too, but mostly good. Here is a quick snapshot of how last February looked:

What This February Has In Store…
Well, we’re two days in already, and I haven’t forgotton my challenge. My photographs aren’t as interesting as they could be, but they hold meaning. For example, yesterday was my three year anniversary with my boyfriend. We had our main celebration on Saturday, and yesterday had a nice meal in. I took a photograph of that. Today I took a photograph of my hair, a hairstyle I had never tried. I’ll be posting my photographs weekly, just like I did last year.
Do you take photos? Are you taking them every day? How often do you look back and how do they make you feel?

A great way to put part of our memories into pictures. Probably last year when you were taking some of these photos and you felt the same way that the photos were not interesting. However, looking back as you remember that particular day and time, it could possibly still bring you smiles.
