Anxious and Unfocused

Posted by: User ImagePenny (Who am I?) In: If You've Got Trouble...

I usually participate in Sunday Scribblings writing prompt group every week, but today I just can’t focus on anything. In an attempt to let out some emotion, I thought I would just blog about whatever came out.
I am feeling extremely anxious right now. When I say anxious, I do not mean sad, depressed, worried about [...] Read more »

I Don’t Want to Go!

Posted by: User ImagePenny (Who am I?) In: If You've Got Trouble...

One of the ways in which I have changed a lot recently is the fact that I often don’t want to go out. Social anxiety means that I often just don’t want to deal with people, even if this is just having a drink together.
When I think about going out, something normal to anyone else, [...] Read more »

Coffee Makes Me Nervous

Posted by: User ImagePenny (Who am I?) In: If You've Got Trouble...

Have you ever heard of people feeling nervous after drinking coffee? I hadn’t, but after starting to drink coffee for the first time I realised that it soon made me feel anxious and nervous for the entire day.
It is quite a common experience with caffeine for people to feel their heart beating faster, and in [...] Read more »

Good, Confident People

Posted by: User ImagePenny (Who am I?) In: If You've Got Trouble...| Imagine

Do you ever look at other people and just wish that you had their confidence? Some just seem to ooze confidence, whether this is sex appeal, fashion sense, kindness or intelligence.
Some people I meet and I just know they are good people. They are kind and good and you never have a bad word to [...] Read more »

Sometimes when I am around others I just want to disappear. This is a terrible feeling, it’s almost like I start to feel trapped and all my mind can focus on is getting out. I don’t want to focus on conversation: I can’t make conversation. I just think about how stupid I am and how [...] Read more »

Hijack
Personal Accident
-  Loss of limbs or sight
-  Permanent total disablement
-  Death benefit
Being exposed to horror stories and getting insurance for events such as these has so much to do with so many people’s problems!

Obsessive Thinking

Posted by: User ImagePenny (Who am I?) In: If You've Got Trouble...

Recently I have been plagued by all sorts of obsessive thoughts, thinking out absurd consequences of every kind of scenario. I’m not sure, but it seems as though this kind of thinking and pessimism goes hand in hand with the social anxiety that I experience. The main themes of my thoughts recently relate to a [...] Read more »

Making the most of now

Posted by: User ImagePenny (Who am I?) In: The Word Is Love| Uncategorized

Is it possible to make the most of what you want when you have it? Instead of looking forward to the day you don’t want to arrive, is it really possible to just forget that and live wholly in the present?
I am moving back home in two days and though I will be going on [...] Read more »

As a follow up to my post on ‘learn who you are as an individual’ I wanted to write about how difficult this can actually be. You might already have the time and freedom to do what you want and learn how you want to be, but there are many obstacles that might get in [...] Read more »

Have you ever heard of erythrophobia? I just found out what it means, but I have experienced its consequences for years now. I always used to blush at times throughout my life, but it only bothered me since about two years ago.
Erythrophobia literally means a fear of blushing, of going red. Apart from trich this [...] Read more »
